Day 1 (Wednesday)
Arrivial in Vilnius. Meeting at a station. Transfer to the hotel. Tour of Vilnius. The main feature of the city – peculiar mix of different cultures. Churches built in different architectural styles – St. Anne, St. Casimir, the Cathedral and the Church of St. Nicholas and the Holy Spirit – architectural object of city pride. Very quaint streets and courtyards, the Jewish Quarter and the University, Gediminas Tower and the Palace of the rulers. You will have the opportunity to walk around the city, located on the picturesque banks of the Neris River, visit the nice restaurants, buy souvenirs. Overnight at the hotel in Vilnius.
Day 2 (Thursday)
A Breakfast. Check-out in the hotel. Tour to Trakai – the ancient capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The city is located among the lakes, over the waters of the largest lake Galve majestically Gothic castle tower, once the main residence of the Grand Duke Vytautas. Now it is – the only island castle in Central Europe, where is a historical museum, and there is also an exhibition of works of applied art. A visit to the castle. Traveling to Latvia. The ruins of the castle of the knights of the Livonian Order and the castle of the Dukes of Courland in the 16th century in Bauska. Visiting the Rundale Palace and it’s beautiful park. The palace, located just 70 km from Riga, is an excellent example of Baroque architecture and Rococo XVIII century in Latvia, the creation of the great architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli. In the evening arrival in Riga. Free time. Overnight at the hotel in Riga.
Day 3 ( Friday)
A Breakfast. Excursion to Jurmala. History of the resort city. District of Lielupe to Dubulti with original wooden buildings. Dzintari Concert Hall, where are organized different popular music and dance festivals and competitions. You will have the opportunity to go to the sea and walk along the main pedestrian street – Jomas street, visit a museum of the city, buy souvenirs made of amber or sit in cozy street cafes. Return to Riga. Sightseeing tour “Riga City of Inspiration”: the city center – it is a magnificent architectural ensemble in the style of “Art Nouveau”. A walking tour through the Old Town: Town Hall Square, Convent Court and House of the Blackheads, medieval houses, walls and towers, the majestic Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church and St. Jacob, the Swedish Gate and the unique charm of the Old Town … Free time. In the evening, we recommend to attend a concert of organ music at the Dome Cathedral. Overnight at the hotel in Riga.
Day 4 (Saturday)
A Breakfast. Traveling to Estonia. An auto tour through the resort town of Pärnu, a slight acquaintance with the summer capital of Estonia. Not far from the capital of Estonia – Tallinn, about 25 km from the town is located one of the largest waterfalls in Estonia – Keila-Joa. It is also located in a beautiful park. The true glory of the park brought Count AH Benkendorf, who bought the old manor in 1827 and built a castle in its place on the river bank which is built in the neo-Gothic style. Arrival in Tallin. A walking tour through the Old Town: narrow cobblestone streets, an impressive city wall, watchtowers – Fat Margaret and Herman Long; Town Hall Square, the guild – all are permeated with the spirit of the Middle Ages, making it a truly unique Old Tallinn for all lovers of antiquity. Free time. You can spend an evening in the famous medieval restaurant «Old Hansa» or try the cafe “Gourmand” (Estonian marzipan), feel the nightlife of Tallinn or just to buy souvenirs. Day 5 (Sunday)
A Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Tallinn. Beautiful palace of Empress Catherine I of Baroque and Kadriorg park, erected by order of Peter I. Song Festival Grounds – a huge open-air concert hall with a stage for up to 30 thousand performers. Pirita – a center of the sailing and recreation. Monastery of St. Brigitta. TV Tower. Monument battleship “Mermaid” on the shores of Tallinn Bay. Quarter Rotterma where interesting design shops you can buy Estonian souvenirs and sweets. Free time. The ability to visit interesting museums Tallinn – Summer Harbor, Dungeon Museum of Tallinn. Departure.
